Following government guidance, Ashmole School (including the nursery class) is closed to pupils during the period of   national lockdown which will be reviewed during the February half term.

Remote Learning
Ashmole teachers will be providing remote learning for all pupils from Tuesday 5th January.
Lessons and resources will be delivered using the Google Classroom suite of resources which supports interaction between the teacher and pupils.
Although varying by year group, the remote learning will include a number of lessons recorded by your child’s class teacher with some accompanying follow up materials and resources for them to work through.
Please see the letters and emails sent to all families for further information.  If you are experiencing difficulties logging on to your child’s account, please contact the school office for support.
‘Vulnerable’ pupils and children of critical workers.
Limited on-site provision is available for pupils identified as ‘vulnerable’ and for the children of critical workers.
·         The decision to close all London primary schools and to offer remote learning has been taken because it is safer for people to stay at home.
·         We understand the significant challenges that the COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions to normal life presents to families and we ask that all parents and carers recognise that each child attending school increases the risk of infection for school staff and for the pupils who will be attending because there is no other option.
·         Please consider carefully if it is essential for your child to attend school on site.
If you have no other option of care for your child (and you meet the criteria as a critical worker or your child is identified as ‘vulnerable’), please contact the school by email.  Further information may be requested from you in order to assess whether your child meets the criteria.
